We need a Constitutional amendment that revokes all taxation power from the federal
government, placing the powers solely in the states, with the requirement that the states remit
10% of everything collected to the federal government. One could debate the possibility of
requiring a higher percentage during time of war, but it would put the fed back to limited powers as
it rightfully belongs. The states would no longer be subservient to the federal government and this
time the feds would clearly have a consistent and substantial revenue source that it lacked under
the Articles of Confederation. ~ Tona
